This is the time of Local Body Elections here in Lahore and its premises. But they don't have enough vehicles to drop staff on polling stations. So, the easiest way is to catch buses of public transport. Staff gets delivered and people suffer.

Today, it was so much rush on those buses which managed to survive the bus-hunt. Luckily, I caught one which goes straight to my office. Packed but I managed to push myself in. The first thought came to my mind was "What would become of my shoes?". A passenger provided me the answer when he stepped over my clean shoes. He was just stepping off when another found the suitable place for his foot. /Aaarrrghhhh/

Just before the end of my journey, a person came in, smug, he looked at me and smiled when I was just about to cry. I forced myself to smile in response, but it was short-lived. He had just stepped over my right foot.

Not long ago, government of Punjab launched a new rescue service in Lahore called Rescue 1122. They have all the latest equipments and technologies to stop people from dying. It's quick too.

Now they are building an Emergency Block in such an area where every time traffic remains jammed. Narrow roads, high traffic and the result is that every vehicle can be seen kissing behind of other vehicle, in any hour that suits you.
I am afraid that most of their clients will touch heavens before even smelling medicine.

My question is, is there anything government did before starting construction? Anything that falls under the category of planning?
